At the twilight of life, there are still laughs, vibrant gestures and the insatiable desire to see the day through.
In the geriatric ward, the long hours foster exchange, the privileged relationship between patient and caregiver.
Little by little, trust settles in, tongues loosen and eyes tell stories in silence.
Healthcare professionals serve as emotional anchors for patients who are sometimes isolated, worn down by long and difficult suffering. This photo series pays tribute to the faces, bodies and silent stories of people living at the heart of the hospital, capturing the fleeting moments usually hidden from the world. To illuminate, to reveal the invisible, and to carry further what already exists close by.

Photography holds a central place in the way I look at the world. I like to photograph what is sincere, understated and deeply human. Through my images, I seek above all to capture presences, atmospheres and fragments of life with sensitivity and closeness. My perspective is built around human connections, silent emotions and spaces shaped by history or memory. Photography is for me a way of slowing down, of seeing differently, and of creating a sensitive trace of what surrounds us.
